Ask your favorite gaming websites and youtube channel to join the cause by not attending and covering E3 this year until the ESA changes their stance on SOPA and PIPA!
If they truly apposed this legislation the last thing they want to do is support an entity that spent $190,000 on PIPA lobbying.
I think at this point we can say that we've pretty much won this battle... however we need to keep vigilant for the rest of the war, things may have backed off for now... BUT they will be back and in greater numbers...
I just wanted to send everyone over to this post -> http://extra-credits.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1546 The ACTA is our next big internet battle, we stood together here let's keep standing together into the future.
you know it is idiotic for them to even pull this stunt if they somehow do win it would prove that those who past this act are complete idiots and are incabible of makeing one single good act but i doubt they will win it would be like belgium trying to concuer russia and the US.
Im far from close minded, you people are the close minded ones who support companies being fucked over.
It's as simple as this: the pirates are not gonna be affected no matter what the bill does and the only people who will be affected are legal consumers (no matter how "law-abiding" you are), so who does that leave in this fight? Us, or the corporations trying to control and meddle with affairs they're not welcome around. No tweaking will fix anything. The very concept this bill is based around is wrong, no matter how noble the sentiment behind it. You care so much about your precious companies? Well, guess what: there is no middle-ground with this bill. You're either with the people, or the companies.
Make your choice.
I choose the companies...not a bunch of whining children. Their materials are being stolen and you dont care
Their materials?! Don't make me laugh. Most of these companies (the MPAA, RIAA) are just a bunch of slimeball publishers who don't do an ounce of creative work in their lives. They've already stolen the materials themselves from the artists who create the work. What about the artists? They see barely any of the profit for what they make. What's their stance on all this? And you care about the companies? For all I care, these filthy companies can wither and die.
You're damn right I don't care. They're companies. They're not people. They are emotionless, right-less constructs made for convenience as much as money itself. I don't give a damn what happens to them.

As long as we do this every time ESA tries to kick us in the privates, we should be able to keep them in place.
